The paths are marked with bike lane symbols on the right, and hiker symbols on the left.

Townline Road was completed in 2010 as part of a normal repaving. A special project of Chikaming Township, in conjunction with the Chikaming Township Park Board, funded by the Pokagon Fund, a five foot bike and hiking lane was added to the north side of the road from Lakeshore Road to Townline Beach.
In the spring of 2011, the eastern half of Townline Road was excavated for a new sewer project, resulting in disruption of the bike lane. Townline Road and the bike lane have been repaved as of 24 May 2011, but the bike lane striping and painting has not yet been redone.
There is no bike lane on the south side of Townline at this time. Bikers are reminded that the bike lane is only for bicycles riding toward the beach. Bike traffic away from the beach rides on the south side of Townline, keeping to the right as required by law.
Path Location: Townline Road from Lakeshore Road west to Townline Beach
